What Notos does today
- 01
Reads the whole protocol.
Every step is checked against the source.
- 02
Hands-free at the bench.
Gloves on. Your voice runs the experiment.
- 03
Remembers what really happened.
Every change and note, including what went wrong.
Every step,at a glance.
Notos turns each step into a picture with its key numbers, big enough to read with gloves on, from across the bench.
- 1.To initiate differentiation, culture cells until ~80% confluent.
- 2.Replace medium with fresh preadipocyte medium and incubate an additional 48 hrs.
- 3.Add 1 μl of Differentiation Cocktail to 1 ml of DMEM/F12 (1:1) with 10% FBS. Make enough differentiation medium as needed. Sterilize with a 0.22 μM syringe filter. Replace preadipocyte medium with differentiation medium.
- 4.Incubate for 3 days in a humidified incubator at 37°C with 5% CO2.

- Differentiation Cocktail 1 μl
- DMEM/F12 (1:1) 1 ml
- 10% FBS

“This can get new students up to speed in the lab quickly and cut down their mistakes. It can lower the lab’s reagent waste, too.”
“This is an app I’d want to use every day. Being able to take notes without taking my gloves off is so convenient.”
“The type on printed protocols is too small, which is hard on anyone who needs reading glasses. This solves an everyday problem for me.”
